Theses postures massage the internal organs, strengthens the reproductive organs, realighns the spinal column and sends sekhem (life force) energy throughout the body, creating a circle of healing energy, generating love, peace and balance. All movements are perfomed slowly and with the breath. All movements are flowing and sensual, creating open spaces, eliminating blockages, allowing spirit energies a welcomed presence! Ankh (life) Udja (vitality ) Seneb (health)! |
Kemetic Yoga
Kemetic Yoga™ is the ancient Egyptian system of Yoga enlightenment based upon the practices of physical movements combined with controlled deep breathing and meditation. The modern version of this ancient system was developed from primary research conducted by Dr. Asar Hapi and Master Yirser Ra Hotep (Elvrid Lawrene) of Chicago during the 1970s.
Kemetic Yoga™ is a healing and regenerative Yoga system that is characterized by a series of geometrically progressive postures that creates alignment of the spinal column and corrects defects in the skeletal muscular system in order to relieve stress, increase blood circulation, nutrient and oxygen supply to vital body systems, and to allow internal life force energy and cerebral spinal fluid to flow more efficiently and abundantly throughout the entire body. Kemetic Yoga is part of the YogaSkills Method™ of Yoga practice that emphasizes creating conditions through activating the parasympathetic nervous system whereby the body and mind can heal themselves as opposed to extreme gymnastic and contortionist postures that often cause injury and result in useless competitive mindsets that plague the commercial Yoga industry today. |
Kripalu YogaKripalu Yoga is an interplay of body, mind and energy. Within the physical body is a subtle flow of rhythmic, energy pulsations that we call prana, or life force. Even the most insignificant thought can disturb or block this flow of energy, creating imbalance or even disease. Every act of the body is invariably accompanied and strongly influenced by mental and emotional conditions, the awareness of which forms the more subtle aspect of the practice which includes physical postures, breathing techniques, deep relaxation and meditation. By fully experiencing and objectively observing your physical, mental and emotional experience, blockages begin to dissolve, energy is freed, and healing can to happen on all levels. Each day, as you encounter and release layers of stress, pain, and unconscious resistance lodged in the body, you progressively accelerate the natural, internal healing processes that enable you to awaken to the higher levels of emotional stability, mental clarity and physical well-being.
